Posted by bakeanddestroy on Friday, April 11th, 2008
This made me laugh, and then made me gag. I don’t get grossed out easily- I’m the chick who eats ice cream while watching Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern. My old roommate and I had Hellraiser spaghetti parties. (Try it sometime, it’s not easy.) But spit is gross. The idea of spitting on a cupcake, no matter how figuratively, grosses me out.
Regardless, this is funny… and it’s a Judge Judy quote. Not only that, but according to the item description, it’s the first in a series of Judge Judy quotes. You could do your whole living room in Judge Judy. Find the “Don’t spit on my cupcake and tell me it’s frosting” print at Rustic Goth for $15.

Cupcake Cross Stitch
Posted by bakeanddestroy on Tuesday, March 11th, 2008
Dudes! It’s my first ATC post ever! I send cupcake stuff to Jess almost every day so last night she asked me to contribute and hold things down on the tattooed lady front while she moves. So for my very first post I’d like to direct your attention to this sweet cross stitching from City the NZ Cupcake Queen! Not only does it feature a cute little hand-stitched cupcake but it also features one of my top five favorite words: rad. Other favorites include: dude, gnarly, and then two cuss words I’m pretty sure I’m not supposed to post here.
This piece and a bunch of other little cupcake cross stitcheries are all available on City’s Etsy shop for prices ranging from $12-30.

I Love You, Cupcake Blank Card
Posted by cupcake girl on Thursday, February 21st, 2008
Perfect for Any Day. Sweet little cupcake collage with image transfer with coordinated lined envelope! I love you, cupcake reads down the card in lighther and darker colors. Because it is image transferred from an inkjet print, the text has a weathered look to it.
$4.00 at this ETSY Shop. Thanks Bake & Destroy for the contribution.
Cupcake Decor
Posted by cupcake girl on Wednesday, February 20th, 2008Is your wall too boring for words? Is baking the yummies and leaving them on the counter not good enough? Do you prefer to count cupcakes instead of sheep while trying to snooze?
Add a few cupcakes to your home decor! Found these on Amazon.com, “these pre-pasted, vinyl-coated wallpaper cutouts form beautiful accents and are a wonderful way to create great looking wall decor and accessories with just a little water and no artistic talent required.” D would probably rather me stick these on the wall then paint.
You can get them for $7.99 at this link

Looking for cupcake items!
Posted by cupcake girl on Saturday, February 2nd, 2008It’s been a while since I have posted, been a little under the weather but I think I am ready to get back into the swing of things, again! First and foremost, I run and operate an online consignment/collaboration shop called Hey Pretty Cupcake and I am on the search for amazing cupcake items to feature in our shop. I am hoping to launch a whole cupcake section and if you’re interested, please drop me an email at [email protected]. If you’re not sure what consignment is, send me an email and I will be more than happy to give you a little explenation :D

Finding cupcake item’s that my fellow bloggers haven’t blogged about already is pretty tricky. I have a folder in my bookmarks marked cupcake just for this blog and I have to delete them often! The fellow ATC woman have style!
I would like to introduce you to one of my favorite collaborators (at my site), her name is Monica. She is an artist and she has the yummiest cupcake print! This print can be found in her shop memory on Etsy. It is called “oh no” and you can pick up a 4 x 6 for $6.00 or an 8 x 10 for $15.
“Signed, unmatted and unframed. Professionally Printed on archival paper.
The colors are soft and warm pastel tones. The cupcakes are sheer, with the polka dot background peeking through them. This piece is humorous and cute. The story behind it:
I painted this in ink, and then digitally colored it. I even made the polka dot background myself from scratch. I adore cupcakes, but unfortunately do not get the opportunity to eat them very often.”
I also sell these cupcakes on 1″ buttons, 1″ magnets, 1″ rings, 1″ hair pins, 1″ necklace’s, 2 1/4″ magnets, 2 1/4″ mirrors and more. If you’re interested in any of the above, just let me know! (They aren’t available in her shop!)
A Fanciful Twist
Posted by cupcake girl on Monday, January 7th, 2008An excerpt from her Bio, “Some days it is all about funny little monsters, others I am covered in clay. Sometimes, I feel very Marie Antoinette and others I feel like I am in a strange land where unusual creatures lurk…I just never know what I am going to get on a day to day basis. Scary, silly, fanciful…Noone knows. Least of all, me.”
All artwork above is listed for $20 in her store.
Visit her at her blog and Etsy store.

Let’s Make Cupcakes
Posted by cupcake girl on Friday, December 21st, 2007From Penny Springmann for Sweet Shoppe Designs.

Let’s Make Cupcakes is the perfect gift for those who have everything. Give as a gift to a special neighbor, friend, grandmother, mom, etc., and then spend some quality time together as you bake. This is a perfect gift for the grandkids to give grandma or grandpa or grandma/grandpa to give to them (mom and dads work well, too!)! Penny Springmann created this paint can as a template so you can fill it with your favorite digital papers and elements. This template fits a GALLON size paint can, but sizes do vary, so you might need to resize a tad (this shouldn’t hurt the quality.) She has included instructions for using the .psd and .tiff templates and on assembling your paint can (two ways to put it all together). Once you put it together, fill it with the dry ingredients, sprinkles, cup cake cups, and any other special goodie you would like.
The set includes a front template, back template, lid template, and a template recipe card.
The poem reads: Inside you’ll find a delish dish for you and I to make; a yummy for our tummies, a delight for us to bake. (300dpi, 4MB).
Only $3.99

I recently came across the site cakespy.com and fell in love with the artwork. Owner Jessie Oleson creates delicious artwork that I’d love to have in my home. She also has an etsy shop that I will be a frequent visitor of. Isn’t this adorable?
