Some of these cupcakes have been featured on ATC before, but not all of them have, so take a peek at these cupcakes disguised as other food items. They are pretty deceptive if you ask me. Here are my favorites:

Try your hand at one of these or turn your favorite food into a cupcake work of art!

We here at All Things Cupcake love our 16,000+ Facebook fans but I have to give a shout-out to one in particular today. She shared some amazing and awe inspiring photos of her cupcake themed kitchen. I think she has a future as one sweet interior decorator. Thanks for being such a big cupcake fan Karen and please share with us where you found all these special items!

I can’t remember the last time I needed a pincushion, but this is so cute! And it certainly beats the tomato pincushions of my youth! This clever creation is courtesy of Flickr’s A little bit of stitchin’.

I know that the popular song Take Me Out to the Ballgame says “Buy me some peanuts and cracker jacks”, but I think it really should say “Buy me some cupcakes and cracker jacks.” If you’re headed out to the ball field, take along these “Batter” Up Baseball Cupcakes from Duncan Hines. They are sure to be a “hit”!

Bakers Royal always has the most creative ideas! We’ve already shared with you the peppermint mocha cupcakes, the creme brulee cupcakes, and the fun cupcake pudding shooters! Naomi has come up with another great cupcake recipe that I couldn’t resist sharing; beer and pretzel cupcakes! These cupcakes are a great combination since they are salty and sweet which is very popular. I love the shared look of the pretzels and agree with Bakers Royale, it looks very dramatic! I know that girls like beer but for some reason these seem like a great cupcake idea for a guys birthday. There are also notes to turn the cupcake into a chocolate caramel pretzel cupcake if you are not a beer drinker.

Do you know who McKenna, Emily, Rebecca and Addy are? If you said yes, then you must have an American Girl doll in your home! My little one is in love with these dolls and all their clothes and fun accessories. And they have cupcake stuff too! I love this cupcake pajama set and may have to add it to my girl’s birthday list. This whole set is just $24. You can also purchase matching girl’s cupcake slippers for $22! Wonder if I could squeeze into a girl’s XL…

Are you looking for a way to stay cool this 4th of July? These cupcakes might not actually be cold, but they would be a great addition to your holiday festivities. The recipe uses three colors of cake batter and frosting, and sugar crystals give the snow cone cupcake its “icy” appearance.

Are you in need of a fun summer baking project for your kiddos? Or maybe your child is just dying to get involved making their next birthday cupcakes? Check out these kids’ custom cupcakes that one Mama let her daughter decorate for her classmates. Your kids can use food coloring markers to make decorations of their choice on white fondant. This would be a relatively mess-free way to get your kids involved in the baking process.

I don’t know if I could handle the constant hunger cues, but these wall stickers would look cute in a child’s bedroom or kitchen. A set of 12 is only $10 on Amazon! The cupcakes measure: 6 – 3.25″ x 6 – 1.75″. And you can move them without damaging the stickers or the walls, so there’s no major commitment involved!

I have a confession to make- I am a craftaholic! I love to try new crafts every few months and my most recent endeavor has been sewing. So far I have made several bags, dresses and beanbags. It is so much fun to start with a flat piece of fabric and turn it into something new. So for all you cupcake fans out there who are also sewers like me, I found some great fabric that marry those two loves from Fabric.com. FYI- I have also found cupcake fabric at Joanne’s, Hobby Lobby and even my local Walmart.

My friend sent me a link to Lace Affair’s website after doing a quick search and seeing the cute cupcake products the company offers. I really want one of the sweet as a cupcake hooks that cost only $7.99.
Now that it’s officially summer and HOT outside I am considering buying the icing on the cupcake dress for $38.99. The website also sells cupcake earrings and a cupcake bank!

Last weekend I went to a lovely cupcake party in a friend’s home. The company was wonderful, the cupcakes were absolutely delicious, and we even had a surprise visit from President Obama (well, not quite, but keep reading if you’re curious).
First, check out this spread.

As if kids don’t get excited enough about cupcakes, this brave baker covered hers in Pop Rocks!
The kids will go crazy! (Just don’t let them wash it down with Coke.)

Have you had your vitamin C this morning? These cupcakes are so healthy, you can have them for breakfast! (Okay, they’re not really that healthy, but you can still have them for breakfast.) Visit The Domestic Rebel for recipe and amusing blog post about all that is weird about the 90s.

Happy Father’s Day to all the cupcake loving dads! What are you doing to celebrate your dad? I’m taking mine to a Food Truck Rodeo in Durham, North Carolina! I would have made him cupcakes, if were weren’t spending the afternoon eating. I like these simple free printable father’s day cupcake toppers from Embellish to use as decorations. The download also includes straw flags, bottle labels, a banner, and more.

This cupcake tank is pretty sweet. Today it made its debut in the Pentagon’s courtyard as people gathered to celebrate the Army’s 237th birthday.
Want to know the stats? The tank weighed 2,500 pounds and was made from 5,000 camouflaged cupcakes from Georgetown Cupcakes. If you think that’s pretty cool, then wait until you hear this: it was also outfitted with an air cannon which fired a cupcake onto the Pentagon’s Courtyard.
Want to know another interesting statistic on this tank? The 5,000 cupcakes were covered in a whopping 200 pounds of camouflage fondant. Now THAT is a lot of fondant!

In my house I may do most of the cooking but when it comes to grilling, that’s 100% my husband’s job. I found these totally perfect cupcakes at Wilton.com and I instantly fell in love. Not only would they be a great Father’s Day cupcake idea, but these would also be great for a 4th of July picnic too. You could also modify this a bit by adding fondant hotdogs, corn on the cob and other veggies. They may each take a while to make, but check out the baker reviews for some time-saving tips.
