I love using a little clipart to brighten up my computer projects and what could be more perfect than cupcake clipart?  These totally sweet sets are available from Etsy seller, Dream Like Magic. Their shop is filled with over 200 graphic designs sets to be used for cards, invitations, Facebook covers, scrapbooking, stickers and Etsy banners.    I bought a banner from them a few years ago for my own Etsy shop (Stay Home Cupcake) and I could not be happier with it.  The only problem now is that Dream Like Magic has so many new choices, I may have to buy an update!

My kids love Backyardigans. So I was happy to spot these Backyardigan Cupcake Rings from Zoomparty. A set of 12 costs $3.29, and makes for a super quick way to make your kiddo’s cupcakes extra special. Zoomparty carries an entire of line of Backyardigan–themed party items, so, if you are ambitious, you could create an entire Backyardigans experience!

Here’s a quick but clever cupcake idea for the Star Wars fan in your life!

I have always been a fan of themed parties.  I think it makes for easier party planning and I like it when things are coordinated!  The Sweetest Occasion blogged about Amory a four year old’s cupcake themed birthday party. The whole party is dedicated to cupcake decorating, both real cupcakes with frosting and sprinkles and paper craft cupcakes.  Even the party favors were cupcake props!  The pictures of the party make it look like a fun birthday for any age!

World Market is one of my favorite stores to just wander around in.  Over the summer I found the cute cupcake take out bags and on a recent visit to my local store I noticed a red velvet milk chocolate bar.  The chocolate bar is only $1.99 and sounds like the perfect solution to cure a cupcake craving when cupcakes are not available.  My store also had the wine charms shown below.  I did not see them on World Market’s website but they are worth a trip to the store for if there’s a birthday coming up!

If you have a young one in your family, odds are you have visited Build a Bear for them to make a furry new friend.  But here’s a great reason to go back and get something for yourself! 

This new “I Heart Cupcakes Confetti Cupcake Bear” is shown with all these optional accessories for $45 but you can buy just the bear for $20.  They have several other cupcake birthday animals and this adorable animal carrier.  I wonder if I might get strange glances walking around the mall wearing this cupcake carrier with a cupcake bear in it?

Hol-Berry Cupcakes from Hatfield, PA offers this simply elegant combination of cupcakes around the classic circus theme. Each creation hearkens back to simpler times of a child when colors were bright and shapes were straightforward. Even the background to the cupcake images were chosen to accent the circus feeling with retro party patterns.

I love this DIY Birthday Wreath made out of cupcake liners and paper plate flowers!  It’s such a fun idea and the perfect way to show how old the birthday child is turning on his or her special day.  The instructions make this project sound easy and all you need in addition to the liners and plates is cardboard and a hot glue gun.

Have you looked at Disney’s Family Fun website recently? After throwing our first ever cupcake themed party a month ago for my daughter’s 7th Birthday I am a massive fan.  The girls all had a fantastic time decorating the cupcakes, in the tea party like setting I had created.  I only wish I had known about these first!

This is a cupcake centerpiece , which (don’t be fooled by the picture) is quite big standing at about 20 inches tall, each cupcake being 5 inches tall.  But the best thing about these is that they offer you unlimited ideas for future cupcake parties, or tea parties.

Bought new each of these cupcakes is actually a jar, and inside is a packet of cupcake flavored cookies! So you can, if you want give them as gifts after the party… OR you can keep them and re use again and again.  Even play games with them, such as hiding something in one cupcake jar!  Actually I am thinking these would be perfect party favors at our wedding later this year…

If you are looking for the latest thing in cupcakes, then this is it.  One of our newest ATC Sponsors has hit the market with a bang with these ‘babies’.

What are they exactly? Well these are ‘Batter Babies’ and make creating your two toned cupcakes a breeze!

The way they work is you line your standard baking pan with papers, then insert your Batter Babies into the papers, so they effectively dissect your cupcake into two halves.  Spoon or squirt your first cupcake color, or flavor into the first side and the other color or flavor into the other.  You then remove your Batter Babies and bake!  Too easy, but fantastic results.. so next time you are having a sports party, celebrating something at school, or wanting to create the perfect flavor combination, think about adding these to your baking accessory collection!
