I had such a good time looking at the Cracker Barrel cupcake stuff (see pictures above) yesterday, that I decided to go back today! I got 4 more things! Whoo Whoo!
I got the cupcake Shopping Organizer ($9.99), Recipe Cards w/ recipe card stand ($9.99 on sale for $7.49), Recipe Card Album ($19.99), and the Delexe Chef Set ($14.99).
Available in Cracker Barrel Stores. (Not all of these are available online) Seriously, get your butts to the Cracker Barrel. They have TONS of cupcake goodies!
I had the privilege of tasting these ice cream cupcakes a few weeks ago and at first, we were not in love. No, not at all. My teeth hurt, I got ice cream up my nose, and really.. I couldn’t bite into the cake for the life of me.. but it was then that I realized, I should let it sit out for a second.. and I did just that. Set my ice cream cupcake on the counter, and came back to it in about 5 minutes.. and what do ya know? Soft, creamy, and good. The icing is my favorite part. I am not a big fan of the cake… but the ice cream was really good. The cake reminded me of a brownie almost. I am not a big fan of brownies.

While perusing Blake Makes, I stumbled upon the Neapolitan cupcakes he made. They look delish!
So to celebrate the upcoming warm weather and ice-cream fests, I made Neapolitan Cupcakes! These cupcakes are a combination of two different flavored cake batters, and another flavored frosting in the flavors of Neapolitan ice-cream – vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry.
I made my cupcakes with vanilla cake batter and chocolate cake batter, and a strawberry flavored frosting. You can make them with any combination you prefer – chocolate and strawberry cake batter with vanilla frosting, or strawberry and vanilla cake batter with chocolate frosting…
To make the cupcakes, you can basically use any vanilla or chocolate cake recipes you like. I used the Vanilla Cupcake recipe from the Magnolia Bakery for the vanilla batter, and my favorite vegan chocolate cake recipe for the chocolate batter.
