I know over the past few years we have posted links to these type of color gradient cupcakes but I just can’t get enough of them. I am sure your honey would adore some of these Sweetheart Cupcakes from All Recipes for Valentine’s Day.  So pretty & very easy to create!

Here on the east coast of the US we have yet to have a large snowfall this year.  Most people seem pretty happy about this but I have to admit, I would love a good snowday.  And forget the snowman, igloo and snowball fight-  I want snow cupcakes!  Check out this wonderful submission from All Things Cupcake fan, Barb.  We are guessing that she used water and food coloring to make the colors.  Very impressive!

So many people ask me what my favorite bakery is and I always have to answer Crumbs! I love their huge, overly sweet treats. They do tend to be a bit pricey but to me, they so worth it.   And even if you don’t live close to a Crumbs, they will deliver. They have a variety of shipping options but the cheapest is  UPS ground shipping for about $20 (plus the cost of the cupcakes).  They come delivered in an insulated container with dry ice.  Check out these football cupcakes- great for the party that has a mix of Giants and Patriots fans. 

A great friend of mine just emailed me about some great items on clearance at Pier 1. I think they would make great Valentine’s gifts.  Check out these adorable sales and make sure to look at the cupcake items not reduced because they are just as sweet!

Target does it again! In their dollar area I just found these cute cupcake bins, cards, erasers and felt bags. They also had gift bags, window gel stickers and plastic plates.  I love dollar finds!  I also found cupcake birthday party items in their party area.  Not a dollar but still great prices!

I’m making cupcakes for 80 guests, for a friend’s parents 25th wedding anniversary. I have never made that many cupcakes before, and I agreed before I thought about it, I realised I’d need something to display them, so all day today I’ve been hunting for cake stands and D.I.Y seems the best option. I was planning on decorating each tier with a pretty silver wrapping paper and I found adorable 25th Anniversary ribbon in white and silver which I’d line the edge of the tiers with, I’d probably top it of with some white roses dotted among the cupcakes, because flowers and cake = perfection :).
