This AUD$8.95 notebook has so many elements that I love.  It is pink with a bunting banner across the top, and a cupcake that’s almost as big as the bird that’s looking at it on a pocket on the front cover.

Additionally, I like that there are other items that match this notebook. I personally like the pencil case that costs AUD$16.95 and is in the same color pink.  There are additional items on the Kikki.K website that correlate with these two items.

Its that time of year again!  Less than a month until Christmas day and you have to buy presents for all those people in your life and more often than not, you have no idea what to get!

Or how about something a little more strange?  Like Angel Heart Design’s Cupcake Chandelier?  This white iron chandelier comes with three cupcake lights and is USD $145.00.  You can also have a say in the color of your cupcakes!

Or play it safe with body products like these adorable little cupcake soaps from Ditsy Daisies.  They are just GBP 8.50 and come in three flavors, or should that be smells!?

Then don’t forget, if they bake there are heaps of ideas around, such as cupcake liners, wrappers and toppers, not to mention cupcake books and baking trays!

This $20.00 cupcake pincushion ring is both cute and functional!  It’s made entirely from wool and even includes the pins.  What better way to craft then wearing a cupcake? And the best part is that you have the pin already in your hand!

Anthropologie is without a doubt one of my favorite stores.  I love these Clothbound Penguin Classics For Children.  According to the website’s description, “the revered books of childhood and adolescence are now bound in a brightly colored, smartly embossed canvas covers to add that much more excitement to their enduring stories”

There are six books available, each costing $16.99.  The one cupcake lovers will be most tempted to buy is Anne of Green Gables which has a pink cover with cupcakes, ribbons, butterflies, teapots and teacups.

It’s that time of year when the catalogs arrive daily.  One of the catalogs that came this week was Mindare: brainy toys for kids of all ages. I noticed two cupcake related items; Tasty Science allows you to satisfy your sweet tooth in the name of science! With this kit that costs $19.95, you explore the principles of chemistry through baking cupcakes, cookies, candy and more.

A second cupcake related item is called Cook It In A Cup.  For $16.95 you receive six nonstick silicone baking cups and 29 recipes for individually sized treats.

The latest issue of The Food Network Magazine arrived earlier this week.  Inside there was a section of different wrapping papers for the holiday season.  One wrapping paper was called Cupcakes and Chocolates available from Whimsy Press.  The 24”x36” sheet costs $4.50 and the website offers a matching matchbook cover note pad for $8.00.

I was perusing Etsy the other day when I stumbled upon Geneva Designs. This is a great little business with lots of homemade good such as vintage aprons, kids styled aprons, sewing kits and hot pads.  But it was these adorable cupcake ones that they have just loaded onto Flickr that grabbed my attention!  I love how bright and fun they are!

Given Christmas is only just around the corner, my eyes are alert for the best Xmas bargains I can find.  These would be perfect for any baker or cupcake maker!  You can never have too much in the way of hot pots or hand towels especially if they are covered in cupcakes or, as the second ones are, the tools of the trade.

Last week Oh Joy! Eats posted this great combination of cupcake related items. My favorite item out of the six is definitely the cupcake measuring cups available from Urban Outfitters.  The 1 cup, 1/2 cup, and 1/3 cup measurements are the bases that look like wrappers.  Then my favorite part is that the icing doubles as the 1/4 cup measurement!  They are only $18.00 which would make them a great, under $20.00 holiday gift.

2011 is rapidly upon us and what better way to spend each month of the new year then with a cupcake calendar sprinkled with fun! This fun calendar is available on Monkey Mind Design’s Etsy site.  The calendar costs $12.00 and each month has a different design and saying.

I haven’t tried these new products out yet, but I certainly love the name!

I love the unique items that the MoMA store offers!  One particular product that I’m very tempted to purchase is set of Pop-Up Cupcake Note Cards.  Designed by Robert Sabuda and Matthew Reinhart the set includes 6 cards with orange envelopes and costs $16.95.

Momiji dolls are adorable little message dolls that are categorized into little collections.  Each doll has a cut out hole in the bottom and a card inside the hole for writing a little personalized note.  While looking around on the Momiji site I noticed that they have a few fun cupcake related items.  There are two Momiji dolls that have cupcakes on them.  Each of the dolls are pixies, one is from the vintage collection and the other from the random collection.  Once is blond haired and wearing a pink dress while holding a yellow cupcake while the other has a cherry theme. This week I received a lovely gift in the mail that I had to share with all of you.  These adorable vanilla scented cupcake candle are made byLimor Yaron and are available in these popular colors:

How perfect would this be for a cupcake birthday party for your little one?!  Although it was difficult for me, I did decide to burn it to see if the smell lasted.  I am very happy to say that it did!  And even when the top part burned down, the cupcake was just as cute and sweet smelling and continued to burn for several hours.  Limor Yaron’s  items can be purchased at  Etsy shop or visit New York’s MoMA stores for all her other candles and wares.  

Continuing the run of Uncommon (cupcake!) Goods posts, here is just the sweetest little sugar and creamer set I’ve ever seen.  Artist Beth Mueller hand-paints these herself in her studio in Vermont. I love how adorably but simply she conveys the ideas of cream and sugar!  This ceramic duo isn’t cheap, but then again you’re getting what you pay for in cute creativity and handmade in the USA quality.

While in San Francisco, California I wandered into Paperwhirl on Grant Avenue because of the cute cupcake apron in the window.  Although at the time I resisted the urge to buy another cupcake apron, I did find the adult sized apron by Happi on amazon for only $21.99; just in case I change my mind.

So you are planning the best birthday bash, the most wonderful wedding?  Have you organized great music, food, a perfect venue and have fantastic cupcakes planned for the occasion?  So after all this planning and preparation you know that your guests are going to remember your party for a long time to come!  Right?  Well maybe, but what will help is a visual prompt to take them back to that day!

My daughter is constantly looking at things and recalling the day we got them, like the Mothers day shopping list stuck to our fridge.  She tells me about buying it for me every second morning when she sees it!

To create your own visual prompt why not add a magnet to your party invite or to your party favor bag / box?  This could be the perfect thing for people to remember the date of an upcoming party and the fun they have had long after the event.  I found these in our ATC sponsor’s store Diva Entertains and just had to share them with you.  You personalize them with what ever you want to say, choose the background color (where applicable) and presto.

Little Jane St. is a boutique stationary and textile studio, one product that they offer are ceramic magnets.  There are a total of twelve designs to choose from and even more colors.  One design featured on the magnets the cute little magnets are cupcakes! Today I received a belated birthday present from one of my oldest friends.  She is creative and amazingly talented when it comes to making things.  Plus she knows me really well, well enough to know I would love a handmade cupcake bracelet! I just had to share this with everyone!
