I a big fan of presents and birthdays which is why I secretly love those belated birthday gifts that surprise you when they show up.  I had a small package waiting for me yesterday when I go done with classes and one of the items inside was a charm for my Pandora bracelet.  The popular Pandora bracelets are the new version of charm bracelets.  The charm I received was of course a cupcake! It is sterling silver with 14k gold on top and is $35.oo.

Cute enamel and ceramic cupcake with high gloss finish.  This cupcake 8.5 cm high by 6 cm cupcake has a hollow center to store trinkets and accessories which can be accessed through a hinged lid.   These pieces are well made and substantial.  Great gift to impress for birthdays or special occasions.

I started today by simply typing “cupcake jewelry” into Etsy’s search bar and it quickly came back with over 3,000 items! After a narrower search I found some nice crafts to share.

The majority of cupcake jewelry on Etsy is made from polymer clay. This medium is very versatile and can be molded into the most realistic looking cupcakes as seen with this Strawberry Frosted Cupcake Bracelet made by ScrumpiousDoodle.

I have also fallen in love with artisans who use glass in their cupcake jewelry. These earrings, made by Hare, are glass lampwork beads with sterling silver Swarovski crystals on top for cherries.

I also found quite a few sterling silver cupcake jewelry items. This bracelet was made by ClareElizabethDesign and she used light pink rose quartz beads with the little cupcake.

Mei runs Tiny Hands Online, a handmade jewelry store. She specializes in custom miniature food jewelry! They are tiny things, all less than an inch in size and non-edible despite looking tantalizingly real.

The seller took some photos of pretty cupcakes and put them in these little photo frames covered in a super glossy professional finish. The focal point is a pink lamp work frosted heart and with a blue heart placed on either side. Moon glow beads with pink bead caps, some pink crystal beads and a second chain of green chip beads along the first chain so that it drapes when you wear it and gives an addition of color.

The silver plated chain is 8 1/2 inches long and fully adjustable due to the little lobster claw clasp. The seller also sells an adapter chain in her store under supplies that will turn this from a bracelet to a necklace giving you two great looks with this one of a kind piece of art. Wedding Rings and Diamond Cupcakes!

As a treat for Mervis Diamond Importers next Wedding Ring trunk show, May 2-3, they’ll have some very tasty cupcakes to enjoy courtesy of Classic Bakery.

They have also created the World’s First Ever Fantasy Diamond Cupcake! Do a search on Google and you’ll see no others exists.

The cupcake is topped with 8 ideal cut round brilliant diamonds around its circumference, and a 2 carat Asscher cut diamond in the center. The price tag on the diamond is $30,000. Perhaps not realistic for most weddings, but there’s got to be someone out there who wants cupcakes with real diamonds at their wedding!

Lastly, they’ll have gorgeous wedding photography on display by Labor of Love Photography.

Leigh Poindexter recently left her life as a couture apron designer behind to pursue a career in… well, anything she wants, really. Nanny? Flight attendant? Shark hunter? In the meantime, she’s producing some mighty cute cupcake wares out of her brand-new Etsy shop Very Happy Everything.

Take this hand-illustrated charm necklace, for instance. It reminds me of the plastic charm necklaces I collected as a kid, only much cuter. For only $35 you can remember the good times- Rainbow Bright, roller skates, and dreams of cupcakes for dinner.

I also adore this sun-shiney yellow cupcake on a super-duper long beaded necklace. If Louise Brooks were alive today, I like to think these yellow “pearls” would be a favorite of hers.

There are loads of other sweet charms in the shop- including brooches on vintage horse ribbons and wee little pints of Guinness. Leigh also loves custom orders, I put in a request for a lady shark already.
