My best friends baby girl, Elodie recently turned a year old and being the cupcake queen that I am I bought her Cupcake Clothes!

I don’t get to see her much so when they came to visit me her mom dressed her up in the clothes that I bought her.

I and many others await the countdown to midnight in eager anticipation of the new Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.  I purchased my tickets already for the special midnight showing, and I look forward to bringing my camera and catching some true fans dressed up for opening night.  In the mean time, I found some Harry Potter inspired cupcakes to pass the time.

Fourth of July is a day where everybody can come together and celebrate our country together.  Especially in such an awful year financially for the country and personally for so many people, it is good to remember the roots and celebrate the strength of our nation, and look forward to change in the future.

I was inspired by our president’s speech calling for more people to choose public service as an occupation and serve the country.  I was also inspired by the creativity of July 4th cupcakes.

Love him or hate him, he was undeniably a genius.  I found it fascinating that people have started to use cupcakes to express their feeling.  Now cupcakes aren’t only found at weddings, but also in mournings.

I decided at midnight Thursday May 7th to bake cupcakes for my son’s kindergarten class.  Here’s a look at what happens when you do just that.

I started with an upbeat attitude.  Made some coffee and I was on my way.  Interesting concept midnight = baking cupcakes!  Good Stuff!

I had mental blocks when it came to what I was going to use for the topping.  Publix was closed and I was in no mood to go out whether the stores were open or not.  So I went to the cabinets and Pink and Red toppings is was.  The other choices were butterfly’s, flowers, or hot pink.  Regardless, I finished and DRUM ROLL, Please: Here are the results ~ (Pictured above)

My daughter had her 6th miracle birthday party yesterday (April 5th). She has a terminal illness. Her theme was cupcakes. She loves cupcakes. Without ATC, I wouldn’t have been able to find such wonderful cupcake items. Majority of the items are from your site. I just thought I’d send in some pics and thank you for having this site! Her birthday was a hit! Everyone wanted to know where I got everything. The cakes and cupcake pops were made by my wonderful sister (in the pic with the 2 ladies, I’m the one in the green and she’s the one in the peach shirt). The cupcake pops, giant cupcake and the huge cake were all wonderful! Everyone loved them!! So, you have my permission to use all, some or not any at all of the pictures I’m sending.
