We received these photos and an email from ATC Reader Candace…

My daughter had her 6th miracle birthday party yesterday (April 5th). She has a terminal illness. Her theme was cupcakes. She loves cupcakes. Without ATC, I wouldn’t have been able to find such wonderful cupcake items. Majority of the items are from your site. I just thought I’d send in some pics and thank you for having this site! Her birthday was a hit! Everyone wanted to know where I got everything. The cakes and cupcake pops were made by my wonderful sister (in the pic with the 2 ladies, I’m the one in the green and she’s the one in the peach shirt). The cupcake pops, giant cupcake and the huge cake were all wonderful! Everyone loved them!! So, you have my permission to use all, some or not any at all of the pictures I’m sending. Just thought I’d share and tell you thank you! :)

Thank you Candace for sharing all of the wonderful pictures of your daughter’s special day. Courtney is so gorgeous! You did an amazing job on her party.

Cheerful Chocolate Cupcake photos by me (GreenEyedLillies)

My review

I was sent several boxes of cake mix and frosting mix from a company called Naturally Nora. I baked the cheerful chocolate cake with the cheerful chocolate frosting. Everyone loved the cupcakes I made with their product! I shared them with people of all ages, from a toddler to a few folks over thirty.  The cupcakes have a great chocolate flavor but they are not too rich or over powering. I can not wait to try the other kinds! I told my vegan friends that they could substitute some applesauce for the eggs. They are now working with me to get Naturally Nora available in stores locally!

Other reasons I love this product

Naturally Nora is using all-natural ingredients you can’t find anywhere else!   They have created cake and frosting mixes that they are now delighted to share with you.

Naturally Nora mixes are made with:

  • All-natural ingredients.
  • NO artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.
  • NO hydrogenated oils or trans fats.
  • Lots of Love!

Environmentally-friendly packaging is also something you can expect from Naturally Nora.

Dairy is “optional”, meaning none of their mixes contain dairy products. It is your choice whether to add milk & butter during preparation. Vanilla soymilk & margarine also work well.

All of their products are kosher and do not contain dairy or soy. They are produced in a facility that also uses milk, soy and tree nuts. Check the ingredient statement of each product for additional ingredient information.

Please visit Naturally Nora for more information.

Cupcake Charms from Very Happy Everything

Posted by on Friday, April 3rd, 2009

Leigh Poindexter recently left her life as a couture apron designer behind to pursue a career in… well, anything she wants, really. Nanny? Flight attendant? Shark hunter? In the meantime, she’s producing some mighty cute cupcake wares out of her brand-new Etsy shop Very Happy Everything.

Take this hand-illustrated charm necklace, for instance. It reminds me of the plastic charm necklaces I collected as a kid, only much cuter. For only $35 you can remember the good times- Rainbow Bright, roller skates, and dreams of cupcakes for dinner.

I also adore this sun-shiney yellow cupcake on a super-duper long beaded necklace. If Louise Brooks were alive today, I like to think these yellow “pearls” would be a favorite of hers.

There are loads of other sweet charms in the shop- including brooches on vintage horse ribbons and wee little pints of Guinness. Leigh also loves custom orders, I put in a request for a lady shark already.
