We have shared with you several versions of kids cupcake bedding before and here is another option.  The Company Store’s kids line called Company Kids has a cupcake party percale bedding set for sale on their website.  Choose from twin or full sizes and flat sheets, fitted sheets, pillow cases, and a comforter cover.  While on the site don’t forget to look at the girls’ snug-fit cupcake pajamas available in sizes 2T-6 for $19.00.  Or there’s a short sleeve cupcake tee on sale for $9.99 available in sizes XS-M.  And perfect for kids going back to school is the cupcake appliqued messenger bag that is $22.00.

Disney’s DSigned has created a girls line called The Sharpay Collection.  Available at Target the line was created to go along with the movie, Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure which came out on Blue Ray and DVD back in April.  The movie is a spin off from Disney’s High School Musical series, staring Ashley Tisdale who plays Sharpay.  Target’s short sleeve, yellow cupcake graphic tee shirt is only $9.99 and comes in sizes extra small though extra large.

Hallelujah! I finally made it to the beach today. I live on an Island and you think that getting to the beach would be easy, but with a busy summer so far and a handful of rainy weekends it has been a lot harder than expected. While I was at the beach, I was wondering if there was any cupcake bathing suits out there. And there are!

Little Baking Cup Dress

Kara Miller is taking cupcake art to the world of fashion.

For her Senior Art Gallery Show at Ramapo College (NJ), Miller created a dress called the “Little Baking Cup Dress,” made of hundreds of pink and white cupcake wrappers with Sarovski crystals sewn along the bust line.  Miller also made a tiara with royal icing and Swarovski crystals.

I was looking at Tilly’s, a surf and skate clothing, shoe, and accessories store’s website and realized they have a random selection of fun cupcake products.  Some are things we’ve told you about before like the cupcake dental floss, cupcake beanie, or the cupcake manicure set.  This was the first time I’d seen a cupcake watch! The watch is only $15.00 and comes in white or black.  I also like the “love at first bite” items which include a pink rubber bracelet that is $2.97! And the girls yellow and grey striped t-shirt that even has a cupcake with a bite missing from it!

You can never go wrong with cupcake clothes for kids, especially if combines cupcakes and classic comic characters.  This little girls shirt from JCPenny features Charlie Brown and The Peanuts Gang with their favorite cupcakes.  I think I have to stick with Snoopy on this one and say my favorite are the sprinkles!  The shirt is on sale for $9.99 so order yours before it’s gone!

I’m very excited to share today’s posts.  For several years now my sister and I have wanted Toms, a pair of shoes that are popular here on the college scene.  Toms are unique in that for every pair of shoes you buy the company donates a pair of shoes to a child in need.  Last month at a special event held by Bevello, a small chain clothing boutique here in North Carolina I finally got my Toms!  One weekend in early April Bevello provided customers the opportunity to have customs Toms designed by local artists.  I immediately jumped at the chance to have a pair of Toms that no one else would have and knew exactly what I wanted to have drawn on mine.  I had to have cupcakes of course!  I have yet to own shoes with cupcakes and so I went ahead and ordered by shoes.  Sadly the day I went to Bevello at Blakeney, in Charlotte, North Carolina, the artist was not there.  I ended up blindly ordering my Toms without having seen any work by the artist.  Three weeks later I picked up my shoes and was pleasantly surprised by what I found inside the box.  The picture shown above are my custom designed cupcake Toms!

Have you seen the youtube double rainbow video?  Apparently last year I was living under a rock and missed watching it until my friend showed me this Hello Kitty double cupcake rainbow T-shirt.  The shirt makes fun of the video by asking “what does it mean” since no one really knows that the actual point of the video is.  The shirt can be purchsed from ThinkGeek and is $24.99.

The one really sad thing about growing up, is that you don’t look ‘too cute to boot’ in clothes like this anymore!  I love cupcake clothing for my little girl, but even she is starting to grow out of the super cute look and into the more sassy attire. A few weeks ago I posted a makeup giveaway from Cake Mineral Make-up and I was amazed by the amount of interest we had.   And it got me thinking, why would cupcake obsessed people also be in love with makeup?  Well, makeup can be fun, pretty and make you feel good- just like a cupcake.  Makeup allows you to be creative-  just like a cupcake. (Of course, it probably also helps that the majority of our readers are woman too!)  So why not pair these two unlikely loves more often?
