Over at Bake and Destroy you will find a lot of action at the moment as the cupcake apron competition draws to a close. The competition set was to design what you would like to see in an apron. The images are a collection of ideas and other pictures to create a story board of inspiration for the apron itself.
There are now six finalists, nautical, peacock, bad spice, bones, cherry rockabilly and lucha libra. Here we feature the Peacock design by Lisa Chen, but you can see all the designs here. To vote simply leave a comment and given there are prizes for voters too, why not!?

The November 2010 catalog for J.Crew’s kid line, Crew Cuts, not only features kids in ridiculously stylish clothes but also kids with a sweet tooth! There are additional images on the Crew Cuts site where kids and cupcakes conform to spell out the letters of Crew Cuts (hop over to the site if you’re not sure what I mean)!

While running the other day I passes a father and daughter biking. I noticed the little girl’s biking shirt had a cupcake on it. The shirt was by Sugoi and it has a cupcake images on the front and back in addition to three pockets on the back. There is also a cupcake recipe inside the pocket! I found the shirt on two websites, Bike Nashbar for $29.99 or Sun Rise Cyclery where it costs $34.99.
Delia’s currently has two graphic t-shirt available which feature cupcakes. The first is the cupcake stripe tee which is a white and black striped shirt with a large cupcake image on the front for $19.95. The rhinestone cupcake burnout tee is another option, it is a black tee with a cupcake made entirely out of cupcakes. While in San Francisco, California I wandered into Paperwhirl on Grant Avenue because of the cute cupcake apron in the window. Although at the time I resisted the urge to buy another cupcake apron, I did find the adult sized apron by Happi on amazon for only $21.99; just in case I change my mind.

For the new movie The Romantics, J. Crew held a photo shoot featuring the movie’s cast in J. Crew’s latest looks. Celebrities staring in the movie include Adam Brody, Katie Holmes, and Josh Duhamel. In the shoot the cast goofs around and in the photo shown above the stars are seen enjoying cupcakes!
What else would you wear to a cupcake party, but a cupcake dress! Well that was Helene’s thinking, but when you cannot find the right thing you may just have to resort to making it yourself. Helene is obviously pretty talented whipping up this gorgeous little lime green cupcake dress in just two days while also making a stack of cupcakes for her cupcake birthday!

Have you ever heard of TUK Shoes?
They are pretty huge in the music scene. TUK create underground Rock n’ Roll inspired footwear for men, women, children and rock n’ roll bands like Green Day and the base guitarist from Slash’s recent tour.
They love to create inspired eclectic designs and often push the boundary of what you would expect on a shoe! And then some of those designs just happen to include brilliant little cupcakes, and in the case of the purple ones and pink pumps, skulls as well.

Every week I meet fans our Facebook page and on this main site that have little girls and love to dress them in our precious sweets. I too am included in this wonderful group of moms who have turned their daughters into walking advertisements for cupcakes. There are so many clothes lines out there now for our little princesses that have cupcakes on them.
