Did anyone out there brave the mall this weekend and happen to buy any of these cute cupcake items from Gap Kids?  I have been avoiding shopping malls but there are still tons of great deals on the internet.  The cupcake clutch is marked down to $17.46 and the socks are $9.00 for a three pack.  I seriously wish the pink and green cupcake pajamas came in my size instead of little girls.  And of course every little baby wold look cute in the cupcake sleep set for $19.80.  Gap is offering free shipping on orders over $50.00 and 20% off your purchase through tonight so hurry and place those orders!

I just spotted this cupcake crafts kit in the kids’ section of Barnes and Noble. For $11.95, your young cupcake artist can create fairies, flowers, and even a princess crown! The kit includes 53 liners, 172 stickers, a glue stick, and instructions, which of course, your child will probably pay no heed to. I must admit, it looked fun!

Check out these cute little girls’ tee’s from JCPenney! They were only $10 each. And the best part? There were even more cupcake tee’s than are pictured here, but the kind folks working at JCPenney were starting to look at me with more suspicion with each photo I snapped, so I quit while I was ahead!

If I had had this amazing toy as a young child, my life may have been very different. I may just have picked up my love of baking at a younger age and maybe by now I’d have my own bakery! Alas I had a Mickey Mouse camera as I child and am now full blown in love with photography because of it.

When I have children, I will be sure that they have this great toy!

Has anyone seen the move Up? If you haven’t, stop what you are doing immediately and go rent it! No, I really mean it! It is one of the best cartoon/movies I have ever seen.

When I saw these cupcakes that were made for this movie, my heart melted. They are so cute and such a fabulous representation.

I know today everyone is talking about the Nor’easter in the North East but I have a feeling we still have a few fall days left before winter is here to stay.  Since the holiday catalogs have already started arriving I looked through Hearth Song’s catalog this weekend.  Hearth Song has some really cute cupcake items.  My personal favorite are the cupcake rain gear; boots, umbrellas, and raincoats! Three weeks until Halloween! Are you ready? I found this baby cupcake costume at my local Marshalls.  It’s really cute and would look great on a little baby, not to mention it’s only $12.99.  While there is not guarantee that your Marshalls will have the costume, my store has several so hopefully yours will too!

CoCo Levine, Cupcake Queen: Fabulous Adventures in Cooking, Crafting, and Friendship is a story about a little girl that lives inside a cupcake.  This children’s book includes more than just a story, it also activities like crafts and baking recipes.  Growing up my mom always incorporated us kids into the cooking and baking.  Even if it was small jobs like pouring or mixing we were asked to assist.  I like that this book encourages involving kids in the activities of the kitchen at an early age.  I also like that it starts creating the love of cupcakes early on!  The book is available on Amazon for $11.99.

My daughter has discovered, much to my dismay, a new interest in Spiderman. So, on a quest to make this as painless as possible for me, I decided to turn her new hobby into a cupcake. While trying to figure out how to do this, I found this uber-neat idea from Crave Bakery.

I am so excited to introduce you to Sara Varon, the immensely creative, cupcake lovin’ author and illustrator of this new graphic novel, Bake Sale. Its intended audience is ages 8 and up, but Sara was sure to include some cupcake recipes for mom and dad.

This year kids can really go back to school in cupcake style!  On a recent trip to the mall I noticed Gap Kids has tons of cupcake items.  There website only offers this grey longs sleeved cupcake graphic T for $26.99.  The stores have a few more cupcake itmes like a short sleeved Tshirt that reads “let them eat cupcakes.”
